Today, on this wonderful Easter day, we are finally releasing the update for our sound packs for game version 1.58.
SCS Software has significantly changed the accelerator pedal curves, which required us to make numerous adjustments across our sounds. The main changes involve the engine curves, but we have also refined and reworked the turbocharger sounds, as well as the front truck sounds for the MAN TGX 440, Volvo FH500, and Renault Range T.
For the Volvo FH500, we’ve added new turbocharger sounds from the 2014 FH4 460. These sounds are a preview of the upcoming Volvo FH4 460 Euro 6 (2014) sound package. We are looking forward to hearing your feedback on these new additions.
Currently, we are also conducting thorough testing of sounds for Convoy mode to resolve a few technical issues. These fixes will be included in the next update.
We know you're all looking forward to new sound pack releases every Friday. As soon as we're able to maintain that release frequency, we’ll be sure to let you know. Rest assured, we will provide plenty of advance notice before any upcoming releases.
